One man must race against time to stop history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds as they get together to plot a war that could wipe out millions of people and destroy humanity.
I think my favorite thing about this movie is how well it introduces and develops all the intricacies that we see in the original Kingsman film. In some film prequels (*cough star wars cough*) they will leave out, or even change completely, major details that lead to the films not making sense. You will find no such faults in this movie, which I would go so far as to say is one of the best movies I’ve seen in cinemas for a long time.
pros: I love how they’ve interwoven all these cool historical figures and events into the story-line. i think the character i was most exited about was Rasputin, who I think of as a most interesting character, in our history as well as in the movie.
cons: Parts of the film are very serious, and there are a handful of real-world problems the script seems it wants to tackle. It occasionally gets the point across, but its need to fall back onto goofball one-liners undercuts a lot of the emotional impact. At a certain point, the back-and-forth between genres can become irritating.
